Where is Falls Bend, PA?

Near Ligonier and Donegal, PA, but along a seldom-found road. Weavers Old Stand, on the other hand, is on the map because the owners' tenant farmers of 200 years ago had a post office. Type the name into a mapping program and you'll be directed to within a quarter-mile of our buildings. We started using the name when we acquired the remaining 150 acres of the original land grant.

What types of books has Barb Miller written?

Barb Miller's first eight historical romances for Harlequin (as Laurel Ames) sold 90-150,000 each, then her 4 Pocket/Sonnet books each sold 50-70,000, for over a million books in print. Various titles have been published in England and, in translation, in Italy, Germany, France, Brazil, Spain, Portugal, Denmark, Sweden, Finland and Norway. Her Whisky Rebellion romance sold very well in France, I (her husband) claim because of Nancy Whiskey dressed in red, white and blue on the cover.

As the Regency market disappeared around the end of the century, she started writing what she wanted, cozy mysteries about older characters living in rural areas. I gave up trying to keep a database of the self-published sales because she'll print and sell (or give away) one or two as requested, without mentioning it to me. We've sold more than a thousand of her 9 contemporary romantic-suspense novels, 4 young adults and 2 short-story collaborations.
